Vietnam Implements Mandatory Business VNeID Login for Immigration Applications
Key Point
- Effective June 1, 2026, Vietnam now requires companies to use a Business VNeID to access government portals for immigration filings.
Mandatory Business VNeID for Online Immigration Procedures
As of June 1, 2026, Vietnam announced that companies and organizations registered in Vietnam must use a Business VNeID to access both the National Public Service Portal and the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) portal.
The previous login method using a company e‑signature/token has been discontinued without prior notice.
Authorities are no longer accepting direct or offline submissions, making the Business VNeID the only method for submitting immigration‑related applications.
Key Changes
- Companies must log in using a Business VNeID to access online government services.
- E‑signature/token login is no longer supported.
- Immigration authorities will not process visa pre‑approval requests, temporary residence card (TRC) applications, or exit visa applications unless the company submits them through a valid Business VNeID.
- Authorities are not offering alternative submission methods at this time.
