Vietnam to Require Health Declarations for All Travelers Beginning July 2026

Vietnam Announces New Health Declaration Requirement for All Travelers
Vietnam’s Government Portal (VGP) has announced that all travelers entering, exiting or transiting through Vietnam will be required to complete a health declaration beginning July 1, 2026.
Travelers must complete the declaration at least seven days prior to travel. The Ministry of Health will determine the scope and duration of the requirement depending on infectious disease trends and the risk of importation into Vietnam.
Authorities have not yet announced the platform or submission process, and additional implementation guidance is expected.
