The Netherlands Immigration Application Fees 2026

Key Point  

  • The Netherlands will increase its immigration application fees effective 1 January 2026 

Immigration Application Fees 

Beginning 1 January 2026, the Netherlands will introduce new fees for immigration applications. The updated amounts are published in the Government Gazette and apply to all new applications from the date of publication forward. 

  • Application for recognition as a sponsor (regular fee): €5,080 
  • Application for recognition as a sponsor (reduced fee): €2,539 
  • Application for a Highly Skilled Migrant residence permit or European Blue Card: €423 

Applicants and recognized sponsors should ensure they are prepared to meet the updated fee requirements when submitting applications in 2026.
