Hayya GCC Resident Visa

Qatar announced significant enhancements to the Hayya GCC Residents Visa (A2) to support increased regional travel during a busy season of international sporting, cultural and entertainment events.

Effective 30 November 2025, eligible residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries may now:

  • Stay in Qatar for up to two months, doubling the previous one‑month limit
  • Enter and exit Qatar multiple times during the visa’s validity period

These updates make travel to Qatar more flexible and convenient. They enable visitors to attend multiple events throughout the season. Additionally, travelers will enjoy a smoother entry experience across all points of arrival. The government emphasized that the enhancements aim to strengthen Qatar’s tourism sector and accommodate increased demand during major regional events.
