Czechia to Temporarily Suspend EPMV Job Vacancy Registry Access for Scheduled Maintenance
- Czechia’s Central Register of Job Vacancies (EPMV) will be unavailable from August 26 to September 4, 2026.
Central Register of Job Vacancies
The Czech Ministry of the Interior announced that the Central Register of Job Vacancies (EPMV), a key system used for foreign national work authorization processes, will be unavailable from August 26, 2026, through September 4, 2026, due to scheduled technical maintenance.
Impacted Individuals
Employers in Czechia sponsoring foreign nationals may experience disruptions to certain immigration-related processes during the outage. The Ministry indicated that processing of Employee Card applications, notifications and changes of employer relies on access to vacancy records maintained in the EPMV system.
What Employers Should Know
Authorities will continue to accept Employee Card and Blue Card applications during the maintenance period. However, they may delay processing some cases until they restore EPMV system functionality.
The Ministry also noted that employers may need to post job vacancies in the EPMV after the system comes back online if vacancy publication is required before they can submit a filing.
