Hong Kong announced that Sri Lanka has introduced a visa‑on‑arrival option for Hong Kong SAR passport holders, provided travelers secure an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) online before departure.
With this change, Sri Lanka becomes one of 175 countries and territories offering visa‑free or visa‑on‑arrival access to Hong Kong SAR passport holders.
Conditions for Visa-on-Arrival
According to the Hong Kong SAR government, eligible travelers may receive a 30‑day visa on arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport.
