Poland Introduces Facilitations for Belarusian Citizens

Key Point

  • Poland has extended its simplified process for Belarusian citizens to obtain a Polish travel document for foreign nationals.

Simplified Access to Polish Travel Documents

Poland has extended simplified rules that make it easier for Belarusian citizens to obtain a Polish travel document for a foreigner.

These measures allow applications without proof that a Belarusian passport cannot be obtained, and keep these facilitations in place through 30 June 2026.

The policy ensures Belarusian nationals can maintain valid travel documentation for international travel and administrative processes, despite obstacles to Belarusian passport issuance.
