Poland Closes Consulate General Office in Russia

Poland Embassy Closes in Russia  

Poland announced the closing of the Polish Consulate General office in Saint Petersburg on 8 January 2025. According to the announcement, the shutdown resulted from Russia’s withdrawal of its consent to the activity of the Polish post.  

Polish citizens in Russia must now visit Polish consulates in Moscow, Kaliningrad, or Irkutsk for consular services.
