New Zealand Moves Most Visitor Visa Applications to Enhanced Online System
- Beginning September 24, 2026, New Zealand will require most applicants to submit new visitor visa applications through its enhanced Immigration Online system.
Visitor Visa Application Process Changing
Immigration New Zealand (INZ) announced that most visitor visa categories will transition to its enhanced Immigration Online platform, continuing the government’s broader effort to modernize visa processing.
According to INZ, starting September 24, 2026, most applicants must submit new visitor visa applications through the enhanced Immigration Online platform, as the agency will no longer allow them to create new applications in the older online system.
