Denmark Extends Processing Timelines for Turkish Work Permits  

Denmark is currently receiving more applications under the Association Agreement with Türkiye than it can process within standard service timelines. The affected cases primarily relate to work-based residence permits. 

SIRI has acknowledged the backlog and is reallocating resources to manage demand. However, the agency expects delays to continue into 2026.
