Eu Blue Card Salary
Czechia has officially confirmed that the minimum salary requirement for EU Blue Card applicants will increase to 73,823 CZK per month beginning 1 May 2026. The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO) published the update as part of its annual adjustment tied to the national average wage.
This increase reflects the requirement under EU Directive 2021/1883, which sets the EU Blue Card salary threshold at 1.5× the national average salary. The updated amount will apply to:
- New EU Blue Card applications
- Pending applications decided on or after 1 May 2026
- Renewals filed under the updated salary rules
The Ministry has also released updated forms and declarations for employers and applicants as part of this change.
