Czechia EU Blue Card Salary Threshold Increases 2026

Czechia is expected to introduce a new minimum salary requirement for EU Blue Card applicants beginning 1 May 2026.
Based on the annual recalculation tied to the national average wage, the projected minimum gross monthly salary for Blue Card applications will increase to at least 73,833 CZK.
This adjustment aligns with EU Directive 2021/1883, which requires Blue Card holders to earn 1.5× the national average salary.
Final confirmation from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs is anticipated closer to the effective date.
