The United Kingdom Launches Concierge Service and Visa Support for Scale‑Ups

Key Point

  • The United Kingdom has introduced a new concierge service and visa support measures, including fee reimbursements, to help highgrowth firms scale and attract global talent.

Concierge Service and Visa Support for ScaleUps

On June 9, 2026, the United Kingdom (U.K.) government introduced a new package of support measures aimed at helping highgrowth businesses to start, scale and remain in the U.K.

Central to the announcement is a bespoke concierge service alongside enhanced visa support, forming part of a broader effort to nurture the country’s first trilliondollar firm.

New Visa Reimbursement Scheme

The government will introduce a visa fee reimbursement scheme for highgrowth firms, particularly in:

  • Digital and technology
  • Life sciences
  • Clean energy

This measure aims to:

  • Reduce hiring costs for international talent
  • Improve access to highly skilled workers
  • Strengthen the U.K.’s competitiveness in key innovation sectors

Fast-Track Sponsorship for Expansion

A new Office for Investment (OfI) fasttrack referral process will be launched for:

  • U.K. Expansion Worker sponsor licences

This will allow highpotential international companies to establish operations in the UK more quickly, streamlining entry and setup processes.
