New Salary Requirements Sweden
Effective 17 June 2025, Sweden has introduced a new minimum salary requirement for work permit applicants:
- New monthly threshold: 29,680 SEK (based on 80% of Sweden’s updated median wage of 37,100 SEK)
- Applies to all work permit applications submitted on or after 17 June
- Applications submitted before that date will continue to follow the previous threshold of 28,480 SEK/month
