Saudi Arabia Expands Saudization Requirements to 69 Additional Administrative Support Professions

Key Point

  • Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development updated its Saudization rules to include 69 additional administrative support professions, all of which will now require 100% Saudi national employment.

Saudization Requirements

On April 6, 2026, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) expanded the Saudization decision for administrative support roles in the private sector. According to the announcement, the update “includes 69 additional professions subject to 100% Saudization,” covering job titles in secretarial work, translation, data entry and administrative support.

Who is Impacted?

The decision applies to all private sector establishments with one or more employees working in the newly listed professions.

HRSD also published an updated procedural guide outlining the new job titles and implementation mechanisms, and urged employers to comply to avoid penalties.
