Key Point
- Chile has introduced a new expedited business visa for Indian nationals to support increased trade and investment between the two countries.
Expedited Business Visa
On May 13, 2026, Chile’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced a new expedited business visa for Indian nationals. The initiative is intended to strengthen commercial ties and facilitate easier business travel between the two countries.
Visa Validity and Travel
- The visa is valid for two years
- Allows multiple entries
- Permits stays of up to 90 days per visit
Processing Improvements
The Ministry states that it will process the visa more quickly and with fewer administrative requirements, although it has not yet released detailed processing timelines.
