About Envoy Global’s 2026 U.S. Corporate Immigration Trends Report
Envoy Global’s 2026 U.S. Corporate Immigration Trends Report provides a data‑driven look at how more than 500 U.S. employers are navigating one of the most consequential periods of immigration change in recent years. As the Trump administration advances sweeping policy shifts, HR and mobility teams are recalibrating programs to maintain compliance, secure critical talent and plan amid uncertainty.
This year’s report delivers benchmarks and insights across processing delays, visa demand, cost pressures, green card strategies and workforce planning. It is designed to help organizations evaluate their programs and understand how peers are responding to today’s immigration environment.

About the Data
To ensure an accurate view of the current immigration landscape, Envoy Global surveyed more than 500 HR and mobility professionals across industries, company sizes and seniority levels. The methodology and respondent demographics below provide transparency into how the data was collected and who contributed to the findings.
Survey Respondents & Methodology
We conducted the national survey online in partnership with Cint from March 20, 2026, to April 14, 2026. A total of 519 U.S.-based HR professionals participated. Each respondent:
- Is a U.S. resident
- Is 21+ in age
- Holds a full‑time HR role
- Is directly involved in immigration or global mobility at their organization
Q14 received 316 responses, as it was only shown to respondents who indicated they employ foreign nationals in Q12. Q28b received 427 responses, as it was limited to respondents who answered “yes” to using premium processing in Q28a. Q30 received 324 responses, as it was restricted to respondents who indicated they are considering reducing certain sponsorship benefits in 2025. Q35 received 278 responses, as it was only shown to respondents who reported they are considering switching immigration service providers in Q34.
