Envoy Helps Employers Stay Compliant with Changing Immigration Regulations with Launch of Immigration Compliance Content Hub
Envoy’s new hub provides employers with necessary resources for immigration compliance.
CHICAGO, September 27, 2017 –Envoy, the technology leader in global immigration services, today launched its Immigration Compliance Hub to help companies ensure compliance with immigration laws and manage new enforcement priorities.
“Many companies we speak with are struggling to maintain compliance with the changing immigration regulations and enforcement,” said Envoy CEO Dick Burke. “Our aim with the Immigration Compliance Hub is to create a resource for all employers to access the information that will help them stay compliant. In this day and age, companies that don’t take the necessary steps expose themselves — and their employees — to real risk and steep penalties.”
The hub features a variety of resources for employers from information on how to prepare for immigration audits and site visits to Envoy’s recently released guide, “Compliance Best Practices for Talent Mobility and Global Immigration Programs.”
The Trump administration has made it clear that employment verification and immigration regulations will be enforced more rigorously than before – even proposing to hire 10,000 additional U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officers. In a recent survey, 43 percent of employers said they have become more concerned with compliance. And 59 percent admit to not being fully prepared for a site visit from an immigration enforcement agency.
“Most companies aren’t compliant because of willful disregard, but rather because it’s become increasingly difficult to keep up with changing rules and how they are applied. In fact, according to our immigration survey, 39% of employers say maintaining accurate records is their biggest compliance challenge” said Burke. “Knowing this, we want to arm our clients and all companies with the knowledge and solutions necessary to stay compliant.”
