Türkiye Minimum Salary Threshold 2026

Minimum Salary Threshold Requirements
Beginning 1 January 2026, the gross minimum monthly wage in Türkiye will increase to 33,030.00 TRY (net 28,075.50 TRY). As a result, sponsoring employers must meet updated role‑based minimum salary requirements for foreign employees:
- High‑level managers and pilots: at least 165,150.00 TRY gross/month (5× minimum wage)
- Engineers and architects: at least 132,120.00 TRY gross/month (4× minimum wage)
- Department managers: at least 99,090.00 TRY gross/month (3× minimum wage)
- Specialists and teachers: at least 66,060.00 TRY gross/month (2× minimum wage)
- Household workers and other roles (e.g., sales officers, junior marketing staff): at least 33,030.00 TRY gross/month (1× minimum wage)
These thresholds exclude all benefits (e.g., housing, bonuses, allowances) and must be maintained throughout the full validity of the employee’s work permit.
