The government of South Africa published updated information on changes to its immigration system. This includes updates to its digital nomad visa category to be open to freelance applicants.
The government also added a point-based system to its general work visa category. The point-based system will be determined based on the following criteria:
- Age, qualifications, language skills, work experience, offer of employment, salary and other factors.
