Monaco Launches Online Payment for Administrative Certificate of Residence
Key Point
- Monaco allows adult residents to apply for and pay for the Administrative Certificate of Residence entirely online through MonGuichet.mc, eliminating the need for a fiscal stamp for digital submissions
Certificate of Residence
Monaco announced that, effective 18 December 2025, adult residents of the Principality can now complete the full application process for the Administrative Certificate of Residence online, including secure digital payment.
Under the new system, applicants who submit requests online through MonGuichet.mc no longer need to purchase a physical fiscal stamp because the digital workflow now integrates payment directly.
A transitional period is in place during which two certificate formats will coexist:
- Online applications: Certificates issued without a fiscal stamp
- Paper applications: Certificates issued with a traditional physical fiscal stamp
Both formats remain officially recognized and valid during the transition.
