Nine New Professions Added to Address Talent Shortages
Hong Kong will introduce new professions to its Talent List beginning 1 March 2025. The newly added professions include the following:
- Accountants
- Financial professionals with Islamic market experience
- Experienced professionals in commodities trading
- Experienced systems architects
- Patent professionals
- Legal knowledge engineers
- Ship surveyors
- Professionals in green shipping
- Aircraft maintenance engineers
The Talent List applies under the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme, General Employment Policy and Admission Scheme for Mainland Talents & Professionals.
