Denmark Extends Biometric Appointment Deadline for Immigration Applicants

• Denmark’s immigration authorities have temporarily extended the biometric enrollment deadline from two weeks to four weeks due to increased appointment demand.  

What Has Changed? 

The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) has temporarily increased the deadline for applicants to submit biometric data after filing an immigration application.  

SIRI cited increased demand for biometric appointments, including fingerprint and photograph collection, as the reason for the temporary extension. 

New Biometric Deadline 

Applicants now have: 

• Up to four weeks to submit biometric data 
• Instead of the standard two-week deadline following application submission
