Venezuela Implements Digital Visa Application System for Business Travel

Key Point

  • Venezuela launched a new electronic system for submitting tourist and business visa applications on March 25, 2026.

Digital Visa Application Process

The Venezuelan Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs launched a new electronic system for foreign nationals to submit tourist and business visa applications. According to the government’s official user manual, all visa requests must now be completed through the Cancillería Digital platform.

About the Cancillería Digital Platform

Under the new process, applicants complete every step online, including:

  • Creating the application
  • Uploading required documents
  • Submitting payment

Once the application is finalized, the system issues notifications and updates directly by email. Visas are also delivered electronically, removing the need for inperson visits to Venezuelan consulates.
