USCIS Updates Office Closure Guidance

Key Point

  • USCIS has revised its office closure page as of October 7, 2025, with no current closures reported as of October 7, 2025

USCIS Office Closures

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has updated its official office closings page on October 7, 2025. As of this update, there are no active closures across USCIS field offices, asylum offices or application support centers. This page is typically refreshed to reflect weather-related or emergency disruptions and stakeholders are encouraged to monitor it regularly for any changes that may impact scheduled appointments or services.

Due to the ongoing U.S. government shutdown that began on October 1, 2025, some immigration-related agencies may be affected. While USCIS remains operational as a fee-funded agency, services like the Department of Labor and E-Verify may face delays. For more details, visit Envoy Global’s U.S. Government Shutdown page.
