USCIS Reaches FY 2027 H-1B Cap

USCIS has announced that it has received enough H-1B petitions to reach the FY 2027 annual cap, meaning no additional cap-subject H-1B petitions will be accepted under the regular cap or master’s cap for this fiscal year.

FY 2027 H-1B Cap

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it has received sufficient petitions to meet the congressionally mandated H-1B cap for fiscal year (FY) 2027.

The agency has reached both:

  • The 65,000 regular H-1B cap
  • The 20,000 U.S. advanced degree exemption (master’s cap)

As a result, USCIS has received enough petitions to satisfy the annual numerical limits for FY 2027 H-1B visa classifications.
