- The United Kingdom expanded its Global Talent Visa program, allowing more than 100 research-intensive companies to support the recruitment of leading international researchers and scientists.
Global Talent Visa for Researchers
The United Kingdom Home Office has expanded the Global Talent Visa program to allow more than 100 research-intensive businesses to support eligible international researchers seeking to live and work in the country.
The change broadens access to the visa’s endorsed funder pathway, which was previously used primarily by universities and research institutions.
Application of Expansion
The expansion applies to international researchers working on funded projects who qualify under the Global Talent Visa route.
More than 100 approved commercial research organizations can now support eligible applicants, including major employers such as AstraZeneca and Jaguar Land Rover.
