Poland Requires Work Permit Digitization
Key Point
- Poland now requires all work permit applications and employment contracts for foreign nationals to be submitted online via the MOS portal
Digital Work Permit System
Poland has confirmed that employers must use the MOS (Foreigners Work Permit System) to submit work permit applications digitally. Depending on the permit type, administrative processing is handled by either the voivode or the starost. Non-compliance may result in fines or re-entry bans.
Additionally, civil contracts such as umowa zlecenie and umowa o dzieło are no longer valid only for foreign workers; formal employment contracts (umowa o pracę) are accepted under current regulations.
