Belarusian Citizen Documents 2026
Poland has extended the existing facilitation, allowing Belarusian citizens to apply for a Polish travel document for foreign nationals, effective 1 January 2025. Authorities typically issue this document when an individual is unable to obtain a national passport from their home country.
What Changed?
- The application window for Belarusian citizens has been extended to 30 June 2026.
- The extension continues the policy first introduced in 2023 and renewed multiple times due to ongoing conditions affecting Belarusian nationals.
Fees
- Belarusian citizens are exempt from paying fees for the issuance of a Polish travel document for foreign nationals.
- This exemption is based on Article 236(1)(7) of the Act on Foreigners and the regulation of 28 June 2023, which identifies nationalities eligible for fee waivers.
