New Zealand announced a temporary reduction in visitor visa fees for eligible Pacific nationals to support regional travel and strengthen its relationships with Pacific countries.
Reduced Visa Fees for 12 Months
- Beginning 1 June 2026, visitor visa fees for eligible Pacific nationals will be reduced from NZD $216 to NZD $161.
- The reduced fee includes the standard NZD $41 immigration levy.
- The temporary reduction will remain in effect for 12 months.
Applies Only to Applications Lodged Outside New Zealand
- The reduced fee applies only to applicants applying from outside New Zealand.
- Pacific nationals already pay lower visa fees than other nationalities and do not have to pay the International Visitor and Conservation Levy (IVL).
