Malaysia Issues New Documentation Requirements for Expatriate Applications
Malaysia’s Expatriate Services Division (ESD) has published an official announcement introducing updated documentation requirements for companies submitting Employment Pass (EP), Professional Visit Pass (PVP) and related expatriate applications.
As a result, companies must now submit additional supporting documents when applying for EP, PVP or related passes. ESD emphasizes that incomplete submissions will not be processed.
The changes apply to all companies registered with ESD and the updated requirements apply to new applications, renewals and transfers beginning June 1, 2026.
