Latvia Increased Consular Remuneration Beginning in May 2026

- Latvia will implement higher consular remuneration rates at diplomatic missions starting May 1, 2026.
Consular Service Fees at Diplomatic Missions
Latvia will introduce increased consular fees under amended Cabinet Regulation No. 707. As a result, the standard consular remuneration fee will increase to EUR 90.
In addition, the fee for handling the residence permit document is EUR 180 or EUR 252, depending on the purpose.
The changes aim to maintain service quality amid rising operational costs.
