Finland announced the expansion of its diplomatic presence with the opening of a new Consulate General in Houston, Texas, on 1 July 2025. The new Consulate General in Houston, Texas, will join Finland’s existing missions in Washington, DC, New York and Los Angeles, marking a significant boost to Finland’s U.S. diplomatic footprint. The consulate will provide the following service:

The existing Honorary Consulate in Houston will continue offering limited notarial services through the end of 2025.
