Tatjana Singh

Immigration Manager, Kenya

Tatjana was born in Heidelberg in the south of Germany into a Russian-German family. She had a keen interest in different languages and cultures from an early age and now speaks five languages.

She first came to Kenya in 2012 for voluntary service in Rwanda. Since this first visit, she has been fascinated with the country, its people, cultures and landscapes. This experience inspired her to study cultural anthropology where she learned about the diverse ethnicities and cultures of East Africa and conducted field work for her Master’s thesis in Nairobi.

As Tatjana  travelled all over Kenya and met people from various backgrounds and countries, it became clear that immigration issues such as residency status or work permit are central to people’s lives. Having witnessed the difficulties that arise when something goes wrong with an immigration application, she is now dedicated to providing immigration support and services to people across the region.
