United Kingdom 2026 Youth Mobility Scheme Ballot for Taiwanese Nationals

Youth Mobility Scheme
The U.K. confirms that the first ballot for the 2026 Youth Mobility Scheme (YMS) for Taiwanese nationals will run from 00:01 on 10 February 2026 to 00:01 on 12 February 2026. Taiwan will receive 1,000 total places for 2026, with 800 in the first ballot and the remaining 200 in a second ballot in the summer.
Application Process for the Youth Mobility Scheme
Applicants must send one email to the designated Home Office address during the ballot window to be considered. Individuals selected in the ballot can then apply for a YMS visa, which allows them to live, work and study in the UK for up to two years.
