NWC to Review Wages for 2025–2026
Singapore’s National Wages Council (NWC) will begin its annual review on September 1, 2025, to develop wage guidelines for the period of December 1, 2025, through November 30, 2026. The council, comprising representatives from employers, unions and government, will assess inflation, productivity and labor market trends to inform its recommendations.
The guidelines will include updates to Progressive Wage measures, with a continued focus on uplifting lower-wage workers and ensuring sustainable business practices. The NWC invites the public to submit feedback on wage-related issues through its portal by 1 September 2025.
