Republic of Korea Introduces Expedited Entry for Business Travelers

  • South Korea has introduced dedicated immigration counters at Incheon International Airport to reduce wait times for foreign nationals entering the country for business purposes 

South Korea Opens Fast-Track Immigration for Business Travelers 

As of 31 August 2025, the Republic of Korea introduced expedited immigration processing for business travelers at Incheon International Airport. Eligible travelers must be recommended by one of six recognized economic organizations: 

  • Federation of Korean Industries 
  • Federation of Middle Market Enterprises of Korea 
  • Korea Enterprises Federation 
  • Korea International Trade Association 
  • American Chamber of Commerce in Korea 
  • European Chamber of Commerce in Korea 

The pilot will run through December 2025. If it is successful, the government may expand the program to additional airports, including Gimpo and Gimhae.
