Visa-on-Arrival Access to All GCC Residents in Kuwait
As of 10 August 2025, Kuwait will allow all foreign residents of GCC countries to get a tourist visa on arrival at any entry point. Kuwait’s updated visa-on-arrival policy applies to:
- Foreign nationals who currently reside in a GCC country, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain or Oman

The change replaces a 2008 rule that limited visa-on-arrival to certain professions.
