• Ireland has updated its international protection services with new multilingual resources and streamlined application guidance 

International Protection Updates 

Ireland has updated its international protection application process to make it easier for applicants to access the right support. Starting 8 October 2025, the International Protection Office (IPO) will now operate from two locations: 

• Citywest Convention Centre, Dublin 24: For families applying together with children under 18, and nationals from 15 listed countries, including Brazil, India and South Africa. 
• Timberlay House, Dublin 2: For all other applicants, including unaccompanied minors. 

Alongside these changes, the IPO has improved its website with clearer guidance, multilingual resources and updated interview information to help applicants better understand each step of the process.
