Denmark Introduces Digital Invitation Option for Affiliated Company Business Visas

Denmark introduced a new digital invitation option—VU5 online: Invitation for a business visa application – affiliated companies—for Danish companies linked to a foreign company where the visa applicant is employed.  

This replaces paper forms in eligible cases and is designed to streamline and speed up business visa processing.  

Under the new system, a Danish company submits the invitation online for an employee of an affiliated foreign company. The system then generates an invitation ID. Applicants include this ID with their visa application, which helps reduce follow‑up requests and processing delays.
