Denmark Forms Task Force to Speed Up Turkish Agreement Applications

  • Denmark has launched a temporary task force to reduce delays in processing applications under the Association Agreement with Türkiye 

Turkish Agreement Applications 

On October 22, 2025, Denmark’s immigration authority (SIRI) announced the creation of a temporary task force to address a sharp increase in applications under the Association Agreement with Türkiye.  

The task force will include additional staff and is designed to reduce current delays and restore normal processing times. It will also help accelerate decisions for applications submitted through the Pay Limit Scheme and Fast Track Scheme.
