Lara Thane, JD

Lara Thane serves as General Counsel, Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer for Envoy Global. In this role, she oversees all legal, compliance and privacy matters and serves as the primary legal advisor to the company.

Thane has over 15 years of experience in various legal and executive roles both in private practice and at Fortune 500 companies. Her areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, commercial contracts and data privacy.

Prior to joining Envoy, Thane served as Chief Privacy Officer and Deputy General Counsel at a financial services company, StoneX Group, prior to which she held various senior legal roles at its subsidiary, GAIN Capital. Thane started her legal career as a Corporate & Securities Associate at Pepper Hamilton LLP, after which she served as in-house counsel at a consumer products company, Dannon.

Thane earned a JD/MBA from Villanova University School of Law and Villanova University College of Commence & Finance. She also holds a B.A. in International Affairs from Wagner College.

In addition to being a lawyer, Thane is a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Certified AI Governance Professional (AIGP).
