United Kingdom: Priority Processing Resumed for Certain Family Visa Applications

  • The United Kingdom resumed priority processing services for certain family visa applications on 21 February 2023  

Overview  

Starting from 21 February 2023, the United Kingdom (UK) government will resume priority services for the processing of Entry Clearance Family Settlement Applications. As a result, family visa applications are expected to be processed in six weeks.  

What are the Changes?  

The government of the UK resumed priority visa services for new marriage and family visa applications. The government had originally suspended priority services for these application types in order to prioritize applications submitted by nationals impacted by the war in Ukraine.
