Overview
The United Kingdom (UK) government will remove the requirement for sponsors to renew their sponsor licenses beginning 6 April 2024. As a result, sponsors will not be required to apply to renew licenses or pay a renewal fee. Therefore, sponsors are not required to take further action. Officials will contact sponsors who recently submitted a renewal application and fee. The government has extended the licenses due to expire on or after 6 April 2024 by an additional 10 years.
