Expanded Access: Indian Citizens Eligible for Qatar’s Residency-by-Investment Scheme

Qatar has expanded its Golden Visa program to include Indian nationals, offering long-term residency through real estate or business investment.

The residency-by-investment scheme provides either a renewable five-year permit or permanent residency, depending on the investment amount.

A minimum investment of QAR 730,000 (approximately INR 1.5 crore or USD 200,000) in designated real estate qualifies for a renewable visa, while an investment of QAR 3,650,000 (around INR 7.5 crore or USD 1 million) grants permanent residency with access to public healthcare and education.

The initiative aims to attract global talent and strengthen Qatar’s position as a regional hub for investors and skilled professionals.
