Changes to New Zealand’s Visitor Visa Translation Requirements Take Effect 26 May
New Zealand will remove the certification requirement for visitor visa supporting document translations starting 26 May 2025, aligning with Australia’s policy. Applicants must still provide translations, specify the translator’s qualifications and ensure translations are not done by themselves or close associates. Certified translations remain required for resident visa applications.
