Japan: eVisas for Nationals of the United Arab Emirates

Overview  

The government of Japan announced that VFS Global, a third-party visa processing service, will process eVisas for United Arab Emirates (UAE) nationals beginning 1 August 2024. The Consulate-General office of Japan in Dubai will no longer accept visa applications unless they are diplomatic or official visitor applications.
