Denmark Tightens Student Visa Rules

Effective 2 May 2025, Denmark will no longer grant limited work permits, job search stays or family visas to third-country students in non-state-approved higher education programs. Applications submitted before this date remain unaffected, allowing current students and their families to keep existing rights. The change ensures that officials grant visas only to those genuinely pursuing studies in Denmark.
