Denmark: Updated Income Requirements for 2024

  • Denmark will update the income requirements for foreign national employee visa and work permit applications submitted from 1 January 2024 onwards 

Overview  

The government of Denmark will update the income requirements for foreign national employee visa and work permit applications submitted from 1 January 2024 onwards. As a result, residence and work permits submitted after 31 December 2023 must include the new income requirements. Applications submitted between 1 October and 31 December 2023 will be evaluated according to the income statistics from the second quarter 2023.  For additional information on these requirements by residence or work permit category, check here 

Looking Ahead  

The government will again update this requirement on 1 April 2024.
