Denmark Opens New Working Holiday Quotas for Chile and Argentina

  • Denmark will open the next Working Holiday quota period for citizens of Chile and Argentina on 1 March 2026. 

Working Holiday Quota  

Denmark introduced a new quota year for the Working Holiday schemes on 1 March 2026, covering residence permits for young nationals of Chile and Argentina.  

Appointment bookings at VFS Global in Santiago and Buenos Aires open on 2 March 2026 at 9:00 a.m. local time. 

Key Details of the Working Holiday Scheme 

  • Each country has 150 annual permits, divided into two quota periods (March–August and September–February). 
  • Up to 75 permits per country may be granted in the first quota period. 
  • Permits are issued on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
