Denmark: New Immigration Application Fees

  • Denmark introduced application fee rates for work, study and residence permits 

Overview 

The government of Denmark introduced application fee rates for work, study and residence permits. The new rates apply to all applications submitted from 17 May 2023 onward. The new rates are as follows:

  • Permanent residence permit on the grounds of work and study: € 7,355 (up from € 6,745) 
  • Au pairs or interns: € 4,320 (up from € 4,175) 
  • Accompanying family: € 2,635 (up from €1,615)

What are the Changes to the Immigration Application Fees?  

The Danish government increased application fee rates for work, study and residence permits on 17 May 2023. Fees for processing applications for residence permits are generally adjusted on 1 January each year. The adjustment on 17 May 2023 is because the national budget for 2023 takes effect on this date.
